Actress and singer Letoya Luckett has announced that she and her husband Tommicus Walker are getting a divorce after two years of marriage.
Luckett shared the news on her verified Instagram account on Monday. She wrote, “After prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce. It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for out children. Please understand our need for privacy. Thank you in advance for your prayers, support and space to heals as we tread through this challenging time.”

Tommicus also made a similar statement on Instagram and said, “Letoya and I have decided to divorce. We remain committed to our family as co-parents and we ask that you please respect our privacy and the safety of our children at this time. We happily remain committed as caring friends with great love and respect for one another. We ask in advance for kindness and sensitivity in the coming months.”

Luckett and Walker raise three kids together. The couple recently celebrated their daughter’s second birthday last week.
“Happy second birthday to our little bundle of joy,” Tommicus exclaimed online. “Thank you for blessing our lives with pure happiness for the last two years,” Walker shared. “We love you so incredibly much,” the celebrity father gushed.
LeToya also took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter. “Gianna, you are my light. My gift. My heart’s desire,” Luckett wrote online. “I prayed for a little girl and God delivered beyond what I could ever imagine,” the celebrity mom further doted.
“I’m SO BLESSED to be your mommy,” LeToya wrote to Gianna. “I’m overwhelmed with emotion right now because my mind is still blown that God blessed me with you. You are the sweetest little angel. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your sweet kisses. I can’t believe you’re 2!!! Happy BURFDAY (sic) beautiful!! I love you so much.”
In addition to Gianna, the Walkers are also parents to son Tysun Wolf, whom they welcomed in September of last year. The estranged couple also raise Tommicus’ daughter, Madison, who celebrated her 9th birthday over the weekend.
On Sunday, LeToya Luckett also took to Instagram to wish her bonus daughter a ‘Happy Birthday’. She wrote, “Happy BURFDAY Madison!!! I can’t believe you’re already 9 years old. It’s so amazing to watch you grow & blossom into a beautiful & sweet young lady. You’re so smart & beyond your years. Your sweet hugs bring me much joy & I love our talks. You’re an answered prayer & I’m grateful for our relationship. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for accepting me. Thank you for teaching me. You made me a mommy-in-love before God blessed me to carry my own. I love you beyond words Madison & I always will. Happy burfday my love.”
Tommicus added, “Happy 9th Birthday to my daughter Madison!! Love you so much big girl. Enjoy your day!!”
