Golden Brooks has a twin in her daughter, Dakota Tao Brooks-Woodside. The Girlfriends star recently shared an Instagram post of her with her “mini-Me” that was nothing short of cute.
“Twinning is winning,” Golden told her social media fans. The celebrity mom also shared a series of candids that showed her posing alongside her daughter. “She took her whole face,” one social media follower shared. “Very pretty,” another fan agreed.
Dakota has been especially camera-ready for the past few weeks. Golden Brooks recently shared a picture of her daughter striking a pose by the family’s Christmas tree. “Beauty and the tree,” Brooks said of her daughter in relation to the holiday tree. “Stunning,” Torrei Hart said of Dakota’s picture. “Wow,” Girlfriends star Persia White commented. “So beautiful.”
Fans of the hit show Girlfriends have reconnected with everything they love about the series, thanks to Netflix offering all eight seasons of the show on its platform. The nostalgia that comes with watching Girlfriends on Netflix has strengthened calls for a feature film.
“I can win an Emmy or an Oscar and the first question will be ‘Is there gonna be a Girlfriends movie,'” Golden Brooks recently said during an interview with Page Six. “And I probably get about 10 stories a day tagged to me with scenes from the show,” the actress added. “So I know that it’s part of my fabric. And now with it being on Netflix, it’s in a whole new light. It makes me so happy. It’s just an iconic piece of history that you cannot duplicate.”
