Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, took their kids to his favorite theme park for Thanksgiving. The Bryant family enjoyed time at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, which is really an experience of four theme parks under the Disney umbrella.
Kobe and Vanessa often took their girls to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Not only was the theme park in close proximity to the Bryants’ home, but Kobe also loved the various Disney characters who frequently made appearances in the park.
Disneyland is presently closed due to restrictions in California caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Florida presently has more relaxed regulations regarding the global health crisis, which is why Disney World is currently open. “Kobe will always be the Mickey to my Minnie,” Vanessa said of the iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse Disney characters.
Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant passed away in a helicopter crash on Sunday, January 26, 2020. The NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter were two of nine victims killed in the accident.
The helicopter was heading to the Mamba Sports Academy, where Kobe was scheduled to coach his daughter’s basketball team at a game, when it crashed in Calabassas. Vanessa Bryant has filed a lawsuit for grievances against the deceased pilot as well as the owners of the helicopter.
Kobe Bryant would have turned 42-years-old on August 23, 2020. Gianna’s fourteenth birthday was on May 1, 2020. Stay tuned for more Bryant family news!
