Jhene Aiko has a beautiful message for her daughter, Namiko Love Browner. The celebrity mom recently took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter on her twelfth birthday.

“If you know me, [then] you know there’s nothing more important to me than this girl right here,” Jhene told her fans. “My favorite thing to do is be a mom,” the celebrity shared. “When I first had Nami, I was a waitress working on my first mixtape. Then, I started touring, traveling, constantly working.”

Jhene Aiko welcomed her daughter on November 19, 2008. The recording artist was 20-years-old at the time and working to build her music career. Jhene faced several challenges as a young mother. She, however, managed to establish herself as a recording artist and even brought her daughter into the studio for a song.

“This year has been so intense and chaotic, but it’s been one of my favorites simply because I’ve been able to spend so much time with her,” Jhene told her social media fans on Thursday (Nov. 19). “Raising a preteen in 2020 is very stressful,” the celebrity mom mused. “But I appreciate every moment and all the lessons.”
