On Mother’s Day (May 10), Vanessa’s eldest daughter, 17-year-old Natalia Bryant took to Instagram to honor her mother. Natalia shared a collage of photos of her mother with the words “I Love You Momma” and wrote in the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️.”
Vanessa reposted Natalia’s collage on her own Instagram and captioned it: “I love being your mama @nataliabryant , Gianna, Bianka and Capri. #MyWorld ❤️❤️❤️❤️You are all the very best of mommy and daddy. ❤️.”
Natalia and her sisters, 3-year-old Bianka and 10-month-old Capri Bryant also presented Vanessa with a couple of sweet Mother’s Day gifts, which she shared on her Instagram stories. Vanessa posted a picture of the book Why I Love My Mom that her daughters gave to her. She captioned it: “I love you so much @nataliabryant, Gianna, Bianka and Capri! ❤️ Thank you! 😘😘😘😘.” Vanessa also posted a picture of the charcuterie board Natalia gave her and wrote: “Thank you for my charcuterie board! @nataliabryant 😘❤️.”
On January 26, 2020, Kobe and Gianna Bryant, along with John, Keri and Alyssa Altobelli, Payton and Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser and pilot Ara Zobayan were tragically killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Gianna was 13-years-old and Kobe was 41 when they passed. They are survived by Vanessa and her daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri Bryant.
Vanessa Bryant’s Mother’s Day celebration comes only a few days after she celebrated her 38th birthday without Kobe and Gianna, marking the occasion by reading a letter her late husband left her. “I waited to open one more letter on my birthday,” said Vanessa. “It gave me something to look forward to.”
