Mike Epps spent Mother’s Day weekend honoring his wife, Kyra Epps. The celebrity father wrote a sweet message to his spouse, who is also a new mom, on Sunday (May 10).

“Happy first Mother’s Day,” Mike wrote to his wife. “Thank you for giving us this precious little girl of ours,” he added. “Great mom, great wife, great life. Thank you. [I] love you.”
Mike Epps and Kyra Epps welcomed their baby girl, Indiana Epps, in March. The celebrity couple shared pictures of their baby girl one month later to the delight of Instagram fans.
“My first Mother’s Day and I’m just so grateful,” Kyra told her fans on Sunday. “Indiana, you’re mommy’s greatest gift and being your mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me,” the celebrity mom added. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies,” Kyra said.

Indiana is Kyra’s first child. The little one joined Mike Epps’ daughters – Maddie, Mariah, Bria, and Makayla – at home in March. Mike discussed his life a married man for the second time during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.
“We all think that marriage is just something to say or something to make you look good in the business world, or make you look like you’re complete somewhere. But it’s really a job,” Epps explained. “It’s really work,” the comedian added. “You’ve got to do a little bit of what she wants to do sometime, [and then] do a little bit of what you want to do. You’ve got to compromise.”
