Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor’s first birthday with a reading session earlier this week. Meghan and Archie read Duck! Rabbit! by Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld for charity.
Prince Harry filmed his wife and son’s reading session, which was precious in all forms. Baby Archie did not appear interested in the book at first. The little one, however, got into the story after Meghan read a few more pages to him. Archie was so thrilled about story time that he picked another book to read before his mom could finish Duck! Rabbit!. Archie loves books!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s birthday reading session served to benefit Save The Children: United Kingdom. “Thank you #DuchessMeghan for helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading Duck! Rabbit,” the charity wrote online while promoting the video clip of Meghan and Archie reading together.
“As the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic, children’s lives are being turned upside down,” Save The Children continued. “By donating to Save with Stories, you can support the most vulnerable families in the UK and around the world by helping to provide early learning packs, supermarket vouchers, essential household items and virus protection.”
