Five-year-old Nigerian Adeyemo Ayomide has already caught the eye of a UFC superstar, being touted as the next Mayweather of the boxing world.
“I found the next Floyd Mayweather his name is Adeyemo Abdul Somod Ayomide,” UFC heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou tweeted on his Twitter account.

The talented boxing prodigy trains three hours a day on the weekend’s and sometimes, he also gets a few hours in during the week after school. His father told Legit, that his son is a “quick learner.” Adeyemo’s proud father also told the outlet that, “God knows the best but for me, I pray he goes far and should become a champion of his own when he grows up.”
As a result of the young athlete’s amazing talent, he has a massed an ever-growing fan base. He already has 12.5K followers on Instagram. Additionally, as a result of his media exposure and viral clips, Sunday Dare, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development in Nigeria has offered him a scholarship to a boxing academy where he can fine-tune his skills near his home in the Baruwa area of Lagos state.
“I will be putting the baby in a boxing academy for further growth and also sponsor his education. Some financial stipends will be given for the upkeep of the lad as well,” Dare told Complete Sports.Â
