It’s official! T.I.’s son, King Harris, is on the Black Squad on Wild ‘N Out. The teen was one of many to represent during the squad’s ‘It’s My Birthday’ rhyme battle with the Red Squad on Tuesday (April 7).
King was the last member of the Black Squad to present his rap mix. “My name is King,” T.I.’s son began. “I’m just fourteen,” he added. “I’ve got the money/ My pockets lean.”
Dozens of fans commented on King’s appearance on Wild ‘N Out this past Tuesday. “It’s so weird seeing King,” one YouTube fan shared after watching the video clip. “He literally goes to my school,” the social media follower revealed.
It was just last year that King fought his father over the concept of homeschooling. King felt like homeschool would have given him the opportunity the develop more creatively within the sphere of music. The issue, however, came with T.I. and his belief that King needed the supervision and structure that traditional public schools offered. King shed tears over the idea of his dad failing to understand his perspective.
King ultimately got the message his father was trying to convey and decided to pursue a career in music while attending a traditional school. King’s success in the industry has been amazing with one of his most recent shows receiving high marks from his father.
