Congratulations are in order for This Is Us star Lonnie Chavis as he is set to star in the upcoming suspense thriller, The Boy Behind the Door. The new project is the first feature-film from writer-director duo David Charbonier and Justin Powell.

The upcoming new movie will follow Bobby, portrayed by Chavis, who is kidnapped alongside his best friend, Kevin, on their way to little league practice. With no way to call for help, Bobby must rescue his friend before they become a part of a ring of lost children.

Starring in the thriller alongside Chavis is Kristin Bauer van Staten, Scott Michael Foster, Micah Hauptman, Ezra Dewey co-star. Producers for the new project include Rick Rosenthal of Whitewater Films, Ryan Scaringe of Kinogo Pictures, Jim Hart, John Hermann and Ryan Lewis.
