Tamron Hall and her baby, Moses, are on the cover of Parents magazine. The talk show host tells the editorial how she juggles a thriving career with parenthood.
“I don’t feel bad about saying goodbye to Moses,” Tamron says in her article. “It’s the reality of being a working mom,” Hall adds. “I also love my job,” the celebrity mom explains. “I mean, if I hit the Powerball, would they hear from me again? Probably not. But I try not to focus on the leaving part too much. I just give Moses a kiss and go.”
Tamron Hall and her husband, Steven Greener, welcomed their son last April. The little one is the couple’s first child.
“This idea that momhood means uncute is so not true,” Tamron tells Parents. “Yes, I’ve had days when I’ve walked around disoriented in milk-stained leggings. But I’ve also had disorienting days as a working woman supporting myself in a competitive field driven by patriarchal rules. I just didn’t have milk stains then.”
Tamron Hall takes advantage of the idea of it taking a village to raise a child. The celebrity mom is grateful for the support of her mom, Mary Newton, who travels from Texas to California just to babysit.
“She comes up from Texas for two weeks at a time to stay with us,” Tamron shares. “I talk to her every day, but to watch her nurture my child is next-level,” the celebrity mom adds.
