All ten of Eddie Murphy’s kids came out to support him during his Saturday Night Live (SNL) return this past weekend. The celebrity father reflected on his life since leaving the show more than 30 years ago.

“So much has changed,” Eddie Murphy told SNL audience members. “I actually had a baby about a year ago,” the celebrity father gushed. “That means I have ten kids now,” he added.
Eddie Murphy welcomed his youngest son, Max Murphy, last November. The little one arrived months before Eddie Murphy’s granddaughter, Carly Olivia, was born.
“I have a 5-month-old grandchild and a 10-month-old son,” Eddie Murphy said during a recent interview on LIVE With Kelly and Ryan. “That makes me a heck of a fella,” he mused. “My son is my granddaughter’s uncle.”
Eddie Murphy told SNL fans this past weekend that his kids meant everything to him. “My kids are actually pretty much my whole life now,” the celebrity father said. “But if you would have told me 30 years ago that I would be this boring, stay-at-home house dad and Bill Cosby would be in jail, even I would have took (sic) that bet,” he joked.
Murphy has several projects in the works, including the highly-anticipated Coming To America 2 that is slated to hit theaters next Christmas. “If you’re wondering why I’ve been working so hard lately, it’s because ten kids are very expensive,” the celebrity father said during this past weekend’s SNL episode.
