Ashley Graham is receiving all of the love that social media wants to give after showing off her stretch marks in a rather candid Instagram post. Many are thanking the model for keeping it real in terms of pregnancy and body changes.
Ashley’s post appeared to be a regular update. The expectant star covered her breast while showing the stretch marks that developed along her stomach. “Same same but a little different,” Ashley told her Instagram fans. The post received more than one million likes in a day.
“I love this so much,” one Instagram follower wrote in response to seeing Grahams’s candid update. Another social media fan wrote, “Thank you for showing what most women’s bodies really look like! We’ve been seeing women that look so unreal for so long in all types of media.”
Ashley Graham is not one to shy away from conversations about body image. It was just a few months ago that the plus-sized model shared her thoughts with allure about the fashion industry with regards to her body.
“My body has always been treated as a thing and not mine,” Ashley shared. “It was always about what others thought about my body until I gained a voice. Now I get to tell people what I think of my body,” the model declared.
