Kimbella Vanderhee and Juelz Santana have welcomed their third child together. Vanderhee announced the arrival of her baby boy on Instagram by sharing a photo of the newborn. “Meet our new prince…,” she captioned of her sleeping baby boy.
Santana James was born on 7/3 and weighed in at 6Lbs 14oz.
Santana’s birth is one of bitter-sweetness as his dad is currently serving time in prison.
In May, Vanderhee revealed how she has been coping without her husband. She wrote, “There’s NOT a day or night that goes by that I do not miss my husband! This challenge has been SO challenging for me, for my kids, for the family! I know everything happens for a reason and I’m letting GOD do his work and lead the way.”
She added, “I travel to Virginia every other week with my children to see my husband so they can spend quality time with their father, it feels so good to spend those hours with him during our visits, It’s not easy but I know that is what I’m supposed to do! It’s tough not having my husband by my side these past 3 months!! I’m staying positive, busy and holding our empire down! That’s ALL I KNOW! Please continue to pray for my husband and our family during this time, we appreciate all your love and support!”
Last December, Juelz Santana was sentenced to 27 months in prison on weapon and drugs charges stemming from a the New Jersey airport incident earlier in the year. Prior to heading off to prison in March, the rapper married Kimbella in a private ceremony in New Jersey on January 10th after ten years of dating. The couple’s older children, Juelz Santana James Jr. and Bella Monroe James, were on hand for the event. Santana’s son LaRon Jr. and Vanderhee’s son Leonardo from previous relationships were also in attendance.
