Seventeen-year-old Kailand Morris, son of music legend Stevie Wonder and fashion designer/model Kai Milla, made headlines when he took to the dance floor last year in Dancing With the Stars Junior. And this year, the talented teen continues to make a name for himself outside that of his famous father as the model has just landed a covenant internship at Dior Homme in Paris.
The budding fashion icon will be working for the Men’s Wear 2020 collection alongside Dior’s Head Creative Director, Kim Jones.
Of course, Morris is no stranger to the runway. It has taken him under two years to become the new “it” model. Kailand has begun to walk for major brands, all across Europe, such as Dolce & Gabbana and Comme des Garçons just to name a few, in addition to honoring requests of designers such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Valentino and Balmain to sit in the front row of their shows. We agree that there is much more to come from this amazing young man in the future. Who knows, maybe even his own fashion line. We would not be surprised and would be definitely poised to buy. Don’t miss a beat and make sure that you follow Kailand on Instagram.
