Eddie Murphy is going to be a grandpa for the first time! The movie star and his ex-wife Nicole Murphy’s son, Miles Mitchell, is expecting his first child with his longtime girlfriend, Carly Olivia.
The happy couple shared the news of their expectancy via Instagram a few months back. “A decade with you, now we are Mom and Dad,” Carly wrote online. “We can’t wait to meet you, sweet girl,” the expectant mom said to her daughter. Nicole Murphy. commented on Carly’s Instagram post by writing, “I can’t wait!”
Miles and Carly’s baby girl will be in good company as she will have an aunt and uncle around her age. Eddy Murphy and his girlfriend, Paige Butcher, welcomed their son, Max Charles, last December. Max joined his sister, Izzy Oona, at home. Izzy celebrated her third birthday a few weeks ago.
Eddie Murphy confessed during a 2016 interview that changing diapers was not his favorite thing to do in the world. “I don’t change diapers … ’cause I would be horrible at it and that’s not fair to the child,” the celebrity father shared. Murphy also touched on his blended family that includes his fathering of ten children.
“Everybody’s really cool with each other and it’s all love all the way around everybody gets along that’s a good thing,” the actor shared. “It’s a love fest at the house,” Murphy concluded.
