R. Kelly stopped paying child support to his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, for his kids for a reason. TMZ has the story.

According to the gossip website,
“Sources close to R. Kelly tell us the singer was absolutely lashing out at Drea Kelly when he quit writing child support checks … a move that ultimately landed him in Cook County jail.
We’re told Kelly feels like he tried to maintain a relationship with his 3 kids, but he blames Drea for ruining any chance of that. He’s said he thinks she brainwashed them.”
R. Kelly may claim that Andrea brainwashed their children. Sources close to the matter, however, say that Andrea encourages the children to have a relationship with their father. According to The Blast, “[Andrea] has never tried to get between the relationship of Kelly and their three children and has actually encouraged them to be close to their father.”

R. Kelly was arrested for unpaid child support that totaled more than $160,000 shortly after being released from jail for sexual assault against several women. The ‘I Admit’ singer submitted a payment plan that would bring him current with support payments. A judge, however, rejected the proposal. R.
