Kenya Moore’s experience as a mom to baby Brooklyn is everything she imagined and more. The celebrity mom tells 11 Alive about her life as a parent.
“It is the most gratifying thing in the entire world,” Kenya tells the media source. “I have waited literally my whole life for this moment, and now that it’s here, it’s amazing. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.”
Kenya Moore has learned several things from her experience as a Reality TV star on Real Housewives of Atlanta. “My life comes first,” Moore says of her experience on the show. “My dreams and my goals come first,” she adds.
Kenya Moore was reportedly not asked to participate in the current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. The celebrity mom took the time off to bond with her child and husband.
“I’m just so happy that things happened the way that they did,” Moore tells 11 Alive. “Had I done the last season and something had happened to my child, I wouldn’t have forgiven myself or anyone else.”
As someone with a career in modeling and film, Kenya Moore definitely knows a thing or two about show business. She offers advice to those hoping to enter the industry.
“I think you have to be a really strong-minded person and have high self-esteem. You have to let things roll off your back,” Kenya says. “You have to have a fallback plan. [Don’t] make [entertainment] the only thing that you do. I think you have to be a boss. [You need to have] multiple streams of income.”
