Usher Raymond’s sons, Naviyd and Usher V, are growing by leaps and bounds. The singer’s boys celebrated their birthdays a few days ago.

Naviyd rang in his tenth birthday on Monday (December 10). “Happy Birthday, Naviyd,” Usher exclaimed. “One thing everybody looks for, everybody can appreciate, and everybody needs from time to time. You are that for me, and then some.”
Usher Raymond went on to tell his son, “You remind me so much of myself, within that phase of my life. Where I wanted everybody to be happy.” The celebrity father further advised, “You can’t make everybody happy, but what you can do is be happy yourself. No matter what it may look like….you can always make it better with your intentions.”

Usher also celebrated his oldest son Usher V’s eleventh birthday, which was last month. “I can remember when I turned 11 (forever ago),” Usher Raymond told his son. “It was the beginning of me understanding that I had begun to grow up and that I needed to care about somethin’… Bad breath, hygiene, the use of deodorant, a career, other people, how I treated them, and what mattered…at least to me.” The star father concluded his precious note to his son by wishing young Usher V well on his journey to find his greatest passions in life.
Tameka Foster, Naviyd and Usher V’s mom, also shared a birthday message with her son. “Ush you are resilient and strong,” Foster shared. “Been through a lot as a kid and living with Type 1 diabetes like a champ! Such a sharp, funny, analytical, extremely generous boy. I’m so proud of who you are.”
