LeBron James wants his sons, Bryce and LeBron Jr., to enjoy the finer things in life. Perhaps such is the reason why the Los Angeles Lakers player allows his teen sons to drink wine now and again.
“Yeah, that’s how mature they are,” LeBron said during a press conference on Tuesday (October 9). “They’ll be driving next week, too,” James mused.
It was just a few months ago that LeBron James revealed his plans to moved to Los Angeles to play for the Lakers. The deal that LeBron signed with the basketball team, a whopping $153 million, left many with their mouths open.
Even in shock, fans of LeBron mustered up enough stamina to buy the new Lakers player’s jersey. As Yahoo! Entertainment reported, “In the first three hours of sales, there was a 600 percent spike compared to how his new Cavaliers jersey sold on the site on the day when he returned to Cleveland from Miami in July 2014.”
LeBron Jr. also caused quite the stir with his commitment to Crossroads School where Shaq and Shaunie O’Neal’s son, Shaqir, played before committing to the UCLA Bruins.
Change has definitely infiltrated the James’ home. “You know, everything that they (James’ Lakers teammates) listen to or are watching these days, my 14-year-old and my 11-year-old are watching as well,” LeBron told media on Tuesday.
How else will the James brothers be impacted by their father’s new teammates? We’ll have to just wait and see!
