Isn’t this exciting? Toni Braxton had the pleasure of being knighted with her sons, Diezel and Denim, by her side earlier this month.
The Royal Order of Constantine gave Toni the honor of being knighted during their Royal Evening event at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, California. “I had the honor of being knighted into The Royal Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen over the weekend,” Toni said after the memorable event. “Such an incredible experience,” Braxton said. “Special thanks to @AndaDika and @daughtersofnonyelum for my amazing dress!”
Toni’s dress was indeed amazing. Gold was definitely the theme of the gown fit for a queen. The attention to detail was evident as Toni’s dress perfectly matched her custom-made gloves. “Thank you for sticking to the pictures every single day,” one fan commented. “I love your sharing, and I will continue to pay attention to you.”
Toni Braxton has not been shy about the importance of religion in her life. It is in her memoir, Unbreak My Heart, that Braxton delves into her conservative upbringing that sometimes leaned along the lines of extremism.
“I began connecting religion, God and church with judgment, anxiety, and guilt. Our family had fallen into religious extremism,” Toni writes. “I’d been wanting to change my nose for years,” she continues. “I wanted it to be less broad. But because of the conservative ideas I was raised with, I struggled with the thought of altering my body.”
