Chrissy Teigen did not experience intense postpartum depression after giving birth to her and husband John Legend’s son, Miles Stephens. The celebrity mom attributes her decision to eat her placenta to the perkiness that was not present after she gave birth to her daughter two years ago.
“I think people on social media are my friends and I think they deserved to know,” Chrissy shares with Rita Braver of CBS Sunday Morning. “Is that so weird,” the model asks when delving into her decision to consumer her placenta instead of discarding it.
“I’m in L.A., it’s very normal,” Chrissy shares. “They grill it here,” the model adds.
Giving birth to a second child has changed Chrissy Teigen’s scope on life. Although the model values health and wellness, she is not focused on fitness for the sake of looking good for the cameras.
“I really prefer being happy and getting to eat things that I love, still wanting to be healthy,” Teigen explains. “But I just don’t care about looking good in a swimsuit anymore,” the celebrity mom admits. “I guess that’s the only way to put it.”
