The awakening led to Mashonda Tifrere working with her ex-husband and his wife so that the three of them could create a more wholesome atmosphere for all of the kids involved. Mashonda has since shared advice via various blog guest spots. The celebrity mom also wrote a book called Blend: The Secret to Co-Parenting and Creating a Balanced Family.
“This book will serve as the inspiration and blueprint that is needed to raise emotionally and mentally healthy children,” Mashonda revealed to PEOPLE. “With a dedicated chapter for fathers written by Swizz and a heartfelt foreword penned by Alicia, the three of us are raising our voices to help generations of families worldwide,” the celebrity mom continued. “I’m certain that the book will become a toolbox for mindful parents all over the world,” Tifrere concluded.
Mashonda and Swizz Beatz have one child, Kasseem Dean, Jr., together. Swizz and his wife, Alicia Keys, have two kids, Egypt and Genesis, together. Swizz Beatz has five kids in all.
