On July 10th Cardi B and husband Offset welcomed their first daughter Kulture Kiari to the world and the I Like It singer has come to the realization that parenting is unquestionably a full-time job.
“Thank you everybody for the congrats we really appreciated [it]. Thank you to family and friends that’s been hitting me up checking on me,” Cardi B wrote on her Instagram account last week. “It’s been a little hard for me to reply back cause this mommy job requires full day, all day, all night attention.”
Although motherhood is a full-time job, Cardi does not see the need to hire a nanny just yet.
“I just want to learn how to be a mom. I want to enjoy every single second of it since I’m going back to work.”
She does, however, have lots of help from her family.
“My mom has not left my sight, not one time. This is her first grandkid… So this is all new to her again, just as it is new to me,” she explained in a video uploaded this week. “My sister has not left my sight at all. She’s such a good helping hand, and my dad, he’s just running errands for me in New York.”
This is the first child for Cardi B and the Migos rapper who is also father to two sons Jordan and Kody and another daughter, Kalea Marie.
