Angelina Jolie may get less time to spend with her kids if she doesn’t allow the children to build a relationship with their father, Brad Pitt. Recent court documents reveal a judge leaning towards Pitt’s side in ordering Angelina to let the kids have more time alone with Brad.
The judge was candid in stating that “not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them.” The justice further said, “It is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother.”
It seems that the judge was willing to go so far as to threaten Angelina’s status as the primary caregiver as the court documents read, “If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt].”
It was just last year that Brad Pitt gave a candid interview about his life with GQ. “I’m anxious to get to the studio,” the actor said of expanding his career. “I think it was Picasso who talked about the moment of looking at the subject, and paint hitting canvas, and that is where art happens. For me I’m having a moment of getting to feel emotion at my fingertips. But to get that emotion to clay—I just haven’t cracked the surface. And I don’t know what’s coming. Right now I know the manual labor is good for me, getting to know the expansiveness and limitations of the materials.”
