So that’s how she did it! Cardi B stopped by The Ellen Show to show the host how she and Offset made a baby.
Well, she didn’t show the details of the encounter that she and her boyfriend had while talking with Ellen, of course. Cardi B did, however, take us back to her Coachella performance this past weekend where she twerked and literally got down while pregnant.
“They say the more you move, the easier it will come out,” Cardi said of her decision to do challenging choreography moves while performing at the music festival. “I’m [like], ‘Come out fast,'” she mused.
Cardi B went on to tell Ellen, “I was just trying to show the world how I got pregnant in the first place. Like that! Like that! That’s how it happened,” the rapper said in reference to a shot from Coachella in which she was nearly on her back while dancing. Ellen, of course, did a bit of egging-on by saying, “We were all curious and we didn’t know how. Now we do, and that’s great!” These two are hilarious.
Everything wasn’t a comedy set during Cardi B’s appearance on The Ellen Show. The rapper admitted to the show’s co-host that she was a bit nervous about confirming her pregnancy via a performance on Saturday Night Live. “For my first performance, I was like, ‘Eh! Party with Cardi! Ooh,'” she explained, “And then in my second one, I don’t know—I was sweaty. My underarms started itching because it’s like, ‘Oh, my God! The world gon’ know I’m pregnant! Oh! Here we go! Opinions! Coming!'”
While there have been critics who scrutinize Cardi for choosing to have a kid at the height of her career, many have given congratulatory remarks to the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper. In fact, several have saluted Cardi for refusing to put her career aspirations on hold until after the baby comes.
