Several celebrities took to social media to congratulate Cardi B on her expectancy. Remy Ma’s message was especially heartfelt.

“I’m crying real tears—happy tears,” Remy wrote online. “For so many years they made us (women) feel like we had to pretend to be single, pretend to not have a real life, and put our lives on hold to ‘entertain’ the masses. Meanwhile, you feel trapped in your own body, a prisoner to your career, and so unhappy when you supposed to be having the time of your life. @IAmCardiB I am so happy you are free too.”

Rumors of Cardi B expecting a child began spreading last month. Several inside sources confirmed the rapper’s pregnancy and even gave a July 2018 projected due date. Such date is still debatable, but Cardi B is expecting her first child in coming months.
