J.R. Smith and his wife, Jewel, love the letter “D” so much that they are planning to name their fourth child in like fashion. JR shared plans of identifying their unborn little one as “Denver” upon her arrival.
J.R. told media that his and Jewel’s fourth daughter will be named after Denver, Colorado, which is where he played basketball for the Denver Nuggets from 2006 to 2011. J.R. went on to serve on the New York Knicks team before setting into a spot with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015.
It was just last month that J.R. Smith and his Cavs was reunited with his former teammate, Richard Jefferson. J.R. was so happy to see Jefferson, who was traded by the Cavs before eventually moving on to the Denver Nuggets, that he could only smile at the sight of his opponent. Of course, it was all business when the game began as the Cavs and Nuggets battled it out for the victory.
