“It’s simple & plain! We do NOT play about one another !! As you become young men I will always encourage growth instead of selfishly stifling it… Boys don’t become men with their Momma in the way… They become men with her standing beside them !” she wrote.
It is safe to say that Monica’s world revolves around her kids, which includes her bonus son with husband Shannon Brown. The celebrity mom recently shared the importance of harmony in blended families with ESSENCE. “I’m very no-nonsense so if it doesn’t make sense then I don’t participate,” she revealed. “You have to think of the children first at all times and the reality is, if it’s not about them it’s not up for discussion. We have to tuck our feelings in as a blended family and say ‘okay what would be best’ and what’s the best way.”
