Blue Ivy Carter is a natural. She attended the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles with her parents, Beyonce and Jay-Z, this past Saturday and she definitely had the art of bidding for creations mastered.
Blue held up her sign in hopes of owning a piece of fine art. The only problem was that she kept out-bidding the competition even when no one was raising her quote. Jay-Z tried to take Blue’s sign when the youngster reached $17,000. Little Miss Carter, however, raised her finger when a call for $19,000 was made for the painting. Tyler Perry, of course, beat out Blue by paying $22,000 for the painting. Just take a look at Jay-Z’s face in the clip, though. Hilarious!
Another thing to note about Blue’s appearance at Saturday’s Wearable Art Gala was the beautiful dress that she rocked. Blue’s outfit was gold just like her mom’s gown. The little one’s headgear was also pretty amazing.
Beyonce was the recipient of the humanitarian award this past weekend. The singer’s mom, Tina Lawson, presented the award to her daughter.
Bey has definitely shown the value of charity during her career. It was just last year that the “Crazy In Love” singer fed thousands of Hurricane Harvey victims. Beyonce had Blue beside her on the front lines serving the storm’s victims. The singer also gave words of encouragement to those suffering at her childhood church.
With a mom who gives out of the abundance of her heart and a business-savvy father, there is no telling how far Blue and her younger siblings, Rumi and Sir, will go. Stay tuned for more Carter family news!
