All children must find their way in the world. Malia Obama is included in the all and has managed to flex her independent muscles since graduating from high school a year ago. Michelle Obama tells media about the advice that she gave her oldest daughter, which Malia respectfully left on the table.
“Don’t wind up on Page Six,” Michelle says she admonished her daughter. Malia, of course, had her fair share of media attention during her year off from school. The young adult was spotted and photographed by paparazzi on several occasions while living in New York City. Page Six was one of the media sources to buy photos of Malia and report on the former First Kid’s whereabouts.
We’re sure that Michelle has forgiven her daughter for her Page Six features since Malia has zero control over what the media source publishes. The former First Lady also delves into the possibility of her running for president of the United States in the near or distant future.
“There’s some bright young people out there doing amazing things,” she says. “I think it’s a better investment to invest in creating thousands of me’s because we don’t need just one.”
Will we one day see Malia or her sister, Sasha, working in the politics sector? Maybe so, maybe no. For now, keep watching as Malia follows her dreams of working in the entertainment industry.
