AMINA BUDDAFLY AND MORE ATTEND ‘LALO’S HOUSE’ PREMIERE AT PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL

It Was All About Taking Action This Past Weekend

Jimmy Jean Louis was also in attendance at the Pan African Film Festival. He and his girls illuminated the spotlight even further. LALO’S House was the premiere film of the festival. The movie garnered support from various celebrities for funding last year. Thousands flocked to the film’s GoFundMe site to give financial support to what may be one of the best films of 2018.

LALO’S House tells the story of 11-year-old Manouchka. The tween is living in Haiti with her little sister when both of the girls are kidnapped for no other reason than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Manouchka is placed in an orphanage, which is really just a hub for child prostitution. How will this 11-year-old survive the cruel world that is an underground crime ring? The story unfolds in LALO’S House.
