Happy Birthday, Madison! Mel B celebrated her daughter’s sixth birthday this past weekend. Madison had cake, friends, and a pony to commemorate her new age at a princess-themed party.
“Ahhhhh Madi bears my love,” Mel exclaimed in one caption that went along with a photo of her standing beside Madison as the little one beheld her tiered cake. Ice cream and Barbie were central themes that were featured on Madi’s cake. “She so beautiful she looks like you,” one follower wrote. “She has hair back in the day. She is a little princess Mel B. I love the rainbow and her cake is awesome, Mel.”
Mel shared another post that showed off Madison’s pony for a day. The youngster was surrounded by family and friends while checking out the beautiful animal. “What an amazing birthday party,” Mel shared. “Ahhhh, Madi. I still can’t believe you’re a big girl 6-years-old.”
The celebrity mom further doted on her daughter in another Instagram post. “Happy birthday my sweet baby girl,” Mel B shared. “You are my world, my shining star, my everything. I just cannot believe today you’re 6 AND you’re starting big girls school. Sooo much in one day,” Mel said. “Wowza.” Wowza, indeed.
Mel has been moving forward since separating from her husband, Stephen Belafonte, a few months back. The singer discussed the notion of returning to single motherhood during an interview with PEOPLE several weeks ago. “I was a single parent for a long time with Phoenix, so I kind of learned that way, and moms always know best,” Mel revealed.
“Every mother, every parent is different,” she added. “The number one rule is you show your kid lots of love and respect, and you treat your kid how you want them to treat other people.”
Mel B is the proud mother of three children. Madison is the singer’s youngest child.
