It’s the end of an era for Shareef O’Neal. The young athlete wrapped up his career in travel ball playing with his mom, Shaunie O’Neal, and dad, Shaquille O’Neal, by his side.
“This past week marked The end of @shareefoneal travel ball era,” Shaunie told her Instagram fans on Monday. “I’ve traveled all over, sat in the bleachers in almost every state to watch my baby play. I wouldn’t trade one moment of it all. I’ve watched him grow in so many ways, on and off the court. And if you guys only knew his heart… He is one of the sweetest young men on the planet.”

Shaunie went on to thank family members and friends who have contributed to Shareef’s development over the years. “It’s so many names I will be here all day but we ended it all playing with @calsupremebball for the last 3yrs,” she wrote. “Our village is no joke and I can’t tell you how much you all mean to us,” Shaunie added.
The celebrity mom ended her note by telling her son how proud she was that he was pursuing his dreams. “Shareef I am beyond proud of you and it brings me so much joy to be on this journey with you and I look forward to continuing with you. I love you so much.” Of course, Shareef wrote an Instagram post of his own that paid tribute to both his mom and dad. “Couldn’t have done anything without these two. MOMS AND POPS. My heart.” How cute!
