Jimmy Hendrix, Prince, and Lennie Kravitz are among some of the top guitar-gods that have blessed music with their talent. Following in their ever so talented footsteps is 14-year-old Brandon Niederauer.
Known as “Taz” to his friends, the singer/songwriter/guitar prodigy has already played with the likes of heavyweight artists such as Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, George Clinton, Gary Clark Jr., The Neville Brothers, Scorpions, among others. In addition to having played with a who’s who of music legends, Niederauer has portrayed the role of “Zack Mooneyham” in the Tony Award-nominated Broadway production of “School of Rock: The Musical”.
As a New Yorker, Niederauer has a multitude of opportunities to play with a variety of musicians that he not only idolizes but they have helped him take his sound to the next level. Niederauer has had the opportunity to play on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbet, Good Morning America, and The View and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon.
