Do you remember that video clip in which Ciara took a ride down the Great Wall of China with her 3-month-old daughter, Sienna, in tow? Well, some critics are calling the ‘I Bet’ singer a bad parent for such scene.
The mommy shaming comments came shortly after Ciara posted the footage on her Instagram account earlier this week. “Not smart,” one follower wrote. Another troll went so far as to call Ciara a “bad mom” for taking Sienna down the toboggan. The nerve!
Thankfully, not everyone on the Internet is a mommy shamer. In fact, Ciara had quite a few of her devoted subscribers come to her aid. “Ah parents police are at it again,” one fan wrote. “It’s amazing to read how many perfect parents there are in this world. Baby is fine, mom is fine, leave them be and find better things to do with your time than criticize others.”
Another of Ciara’s followers got brutally candid with the singer’s critics. “Some of y’all parents leave your kids in hot a*s cars half of the time, maybe even the grocery store,” the subscriber wrote. “Do not come for Ciara! She having the best time of her life with her family.” Well said.
Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, have one child together. Their daughter, Sienna, was born on April 28, 2017. Future Zahir, Ciara’s son with rapper Future, celebrated his third birthday in May.
