Kim Kardashian wants to expand the family despite the health risks associated with such increase. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently revealed her hopes of having another child after being told by doctors that giving birth again is an incredible risk.
“I’m going to try to have one more baby,” Kim said. ““I want my kids to have siblings but the doctors don’t think it’s safe for me,” she added.
Many recall Kardashian’s struggles during her pregnancies. The celebrity mom developed preeclampsia while pregnant with her daughter, North, and struggled with labor and delivery of her son, Saint, as well. Such is the reason why family members and friends have urged Kim to reconsider her plans to expand her family by giving birth.
“Kim had definitely said in the past that she would never have another kid. She didn’t want to go through the pregnancy experience again, and that coupled with the high-risk factor made it a clear-cut choice in her mind,” an insider recently revealed to PEOPLE. “That said, Kanye would love to have three or four kids. He would love more kids if it was up to him. But at the end of the day, it’s her decision and he’ll support whatever she decides.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are the proud parents of two children. North celebrates her fourth birthday in June, and Saint turns 2-years-old in December.
