Standing a modelesk 6’1″ tall, it is surprising that the modeling scouts haven’t come knocking at Malia Obama’s door before now. Well known as a fashion icon in her own right, it has been reported that the eighteen-year-old fashionista has turned down several offers of modeling representation.
The former first daughter, who is currently doing an internship in New York with famed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, has turned down the offers, opting for a quiet life outside of the public eye, focusing on her desire to be behind the camera instead of in front of it.
“She loves the film and TV business and loves reading scripts,” commented a source to Naughty Gossip. “She will leave the modeling to Kendall Jenner. She has zero interest of being famous like her dad.”
Whether she knows it or not, Obama is truly a style icon and will definitely continue to be on everyone’s watchlist, just like her stylish mom and younger sister, for many many years to come.
