Malia Obama is living it up in New York City. The oldest daughter of former President and First Lady Obama was recently spotted out and about with dad.
Malia and Barack were cheered on while leaving the theatre where The Price was showing last week. The celebrity dad and his daughter were met by dozens of grateful citizens who clapped in admiration of the former first family. Malia and her father also took pictures with Danny DeVito and Mark Ruffalo who were in attendance at the Broadway play as well.
The Price centers around a police officer who spends much of his life caring for his dad. The officer must now reunite with his estranged brother to sell off his father’s possessions after the patriarch of the family passes away. It’s a story filled with changes and a bit of reconciliation.
Malia can certainly relate to the concept of change as she recently graduated from high school and is getting ready to attend Harvard University in the fall. The oldest daughter of the Obamas is presently working at the Weinstein Company in New York. Malia took time for a smile and pose before heading into the company’s building on Tuesday.
Former president Obama told media last year that both of his daughters, Sasha and Malia, were anxious to find their way in the world. “They’re ready to get out, just out from their parents’ house,” the politician revealed. “The fact that their parents’ house is the White House may add to it. But Malia’s going off to college. She’s a grown woman.”
Malia celebrates her nineteenth birthday this summer. Her younger sister, Sasha, turns 16-years-old in June.
