LaTavia Roberson and her daughter, Lyric, had a fabulous time at the zoo on Monday. The celebrity mom shared pictures of her and Lyric enjoying a day of fun with Instagram fans.
“Keep it glam and simple,” LaTavia captioned underneath one photo. The celebrity mom was looking at the camera while her daughter was focused on other things in the shot. “Today was a awesome day with the family at the Atlanta Zoo,” Roberson shared. “We enjoyed ourselves #LyricMilan and that petting zoo,” she added. “These are the moments I cherish and want to share with the world.”
LaTavia Roberson is moving forward after suffering a miscarriage a few months back. “I have two daughters,” LaTavia told PEOPLE. “Even in the death of my second daughter, her spirit has guided me to stay true to who I am, to be a lot more ambitious, to take more risks.”
Taking more risks includes LaTavia completing a book and pursuing her dreams of establishing herself as a philanthropist. “I’m thankful — to write my book, to have a voice, to go out into the community with that and be a philanthropist, to follow my dreams that I’ve had since I was 15 years old,” the singer revealed. “Just in the last year and a half, I was able to finally go ahead and finish. It was hard, but it was very therapeutic, so it did me some good, in my eyes.”
Lyric is LaTavia Roberson’s daughter with producer Don Vito. She celebrates her fourth birthday in August.
