Following in the footsteps of the popular Lifetime television series, The Rap Game, producers have set out to find the next new pop sensation with The Pop Game. Premiering on February 21st, this new series will definitely be on key with industry icon and multi-platinum Grammy-Award winner Timbaland at the helm of it all.
With Timbaland’s top team of song writers, producers, and celebrity guests, he will take five young artists on a journey that they will never forget, as they all try to take home the top prize-a recording contract with Timbaland’s label-Mosely Music Group. Among the young rising stars that are vying for the prize, is sixteen-year-old Cravetay of Atlanta, GA.
Cravetay, who’s real name is Taylor Jasmine, is one of four girls in her family that started singing at an early age. Before her interest in pursuing a career in music, she had dreams of becoming a veterinarian but soon found that the call of the entertainment industry was one that she could not ignore.
In 2014, the young singer began positing music to YouTube and SoundCloud. In 2015, this rising star released her debut album, “IMF,” (“It’s My Fault”), which features songs “I Don’t Need It” and “About Us.” Check out Cravetay’s official video for “I Don’t Need It” below and let us know what you think.
