With more than 500,000 tweets within the first 45 minutes of her announcing her expectancy of twins, and upwards 840 news stories reporting on the matter less than one hour after she shared the revelation on Instagram, we think it’s safe to say that Beyonce broke the Internet with her baby news on Wednesday. Dozens of celebs and institutions took to Instagram and Twitter to congratulate the ‘Crazy in Love’ singer on her pregnancy.
“Congrats to my best friend Beyonce I love you so much,” Chrissy Teigen tweeted. “Hive forever.” Music producer Ne-Yo also took to social media to send well wishes Beyonce’s way. “SCREAMING CONGRATS MAMA!!! @beyonce May your 2 new additions be healthy and just as smart and beautiful as their parents.”

Celebs weren’t the only ones who got in on the action. The Atlanta Police Department incorporated Beyonce’s baby news in a post that encouraged residents to stay safe. “#Beyonce may have everyone wanting to celebrate her pregnancy, but remember no celebratory gunfire! Stay safe, Atlanta!” Of course, the post was quickly deleted.
Beyonce announced her expectancy on Wednesday after rumors began circulating that the singer was pregnant. “We would like to share our love and happiness,” the singer told Instagram fans. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.” Bey later released a pregnancy photo album on her website that she affectionately named “I Have Three Hearts.”
The twins will join big sister Blue Ivy Carter at home. Beyonce and her husband, Jay-Z, celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary in April.
