Robin Thicke has lost custody of his son and cannot be near his ex-wife, Paula Patton, according to new media reports that reveal the explosive court interaction the couple had earlier this week.
According to USA Today,
“Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Colin Leis issued the temporary restraining order after Patton also accused the singer of physically abusing her during their marriage, which ended in March 2015. She also said the Blurred Lines singer has traumatized her and her son by demanding visitation and refusing to leave her mother’s home last week.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Paula Patton was denied full custody of her son, Julian, after presenting claims of abuse to the courts. “The judge denied all of Paula’s requests for custody,” a family friend told media. “She wanted more custody because of her allegations of physical abuse, which are untrue and unfounded.”
Julian reportedly told school administrators that his father spanked him on several occasions. The school informed the Department of Child Protective Services (DCPS) of alleged abuse shortly thereafter, which led to an investigation. Robin was cleared of all accusations of abuse and a family friend spoke in his defense.

“Robin has had his head down and has been working on new music,” the inside source told the press. “Anyone who knows Robin knows that Julian is the light of his life,” the family friend continued. “He would never hurt Julian. He’s not a bad guy.”
Although not a bad guy, Robin’s actions these past few weeks have been less than desirable. Paula submitted a sworn declaration that accused her ex-husband of bringing about “reasonable apprehension of imminent serious bodily injury to herself and the child” during their marriage.

Paula also presented an incident that occurred on January 19, 2017, in which Robin came to Paula’s home and demanded to see his son. The singer refused to leave the residence and conceded only after Patton’s mother called the police.
“This last incident with Robin was terrifying for me,” Paula said in a statement. “It was terrifying for our son,” she added.
Julian is Paula Patton and Robin Thicke’s only child. The former couple was married for ten years before finalizing their divorce in 2015. Julian celebrates his seventh birthday in April.
