Holly Robinson Peete and the family return for another season of their reality series, For Peete’s Sake. The upcoming episodes promise to be funny and thought-provoking as the Peetes tackle the subject of police brutality and college life.
Holly and her husband, Rodney Peete Sr., become increasingly concerned about police relations after more unarmed African American men are murdered by law enforcement officers. The couple is especially concerned for their oldest son, RJ, who is finding his way in the world while living with autism. Holly partners with Charles Kinsey, the Florida caretaker who was shot by police while complying with commands and calming his teenage patient who lives with autism, to advocate for better police relations with the special needs community.
Also in the series is Ryan’s sendoff. Holly and Rodney travel to New York with their daughter to see her off to college and emotions are high. Tears are shed as Ryan takes in her new environment at New York University.
Education on the home front is taking a unique turn as well as Holly and Rodney explore the idea of homeschooling their teen sons, Roman and Robinson. Did we mention that RJ has a job with the Los Angeles Dodgers and is making plans to live on his own? Because he is!
