Lamar Odom has had somewhat of a turbulent 2016; however, on December 31st, the former NBA star posted a sweet picture of he and his kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr, on Instagram, weeks after voluntarily checking himself into rehab.
Captioning the picture, “No better way to end 2016 than with my two favorite people,” it looks as if Odom is making an unspoken commitment to a smoother new year.

According to US Weekly, Odom “…went [into rehab] to continue making sure he stays sober and on the right path. It was something he chose to do,” a source told the magazine. “[He] did it for his kids and also wanted to feel 100 percent again. He did not relapse, but felt like he wanted to get away and start fresh for the New Year.”
If you remember in October 2015, the former LA Laker was put into an induced coma for weeks after he overdosed at a legal Nevada brothel. Recently, Odom finalized his divorce with reality star, Khloe Kardashian and is reportedly looking to land his own reality show that focuses on his recovery.
