Robert “RL” Lavelle Huggar and wife Lena Danielle are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their princess. The expectant star shared pictures of her and RL preparing their home for little Rory.
“Mommy, Daddy, & Rance are counting down the days to meet you,” Lena captioned underneath a picture of her, RL, and the family dog prepping the nursery. “Our Rory story,” she added. Lena also shared a candid of herself enjoying a bit of downtime during a photo shoot. “Relaxed with babygiRL,” she wrote.
It was just a few months ago that Lena and Robert Huggar tied the knot of matrimony. “Words will never be able to express this feeling,” Lena shared on Instagram after the beautiful ceremony. “I married the man of my dreams. I am so happy and overjoyed! God has truly blessed us. We look forward to a lifetime of happiness.”
Marriage to Lena was similar to a dream for RL as well. The singer reflected on his first marriage that ended in devastation after RL’s wife cheated on him with a friend in 2012. “I was married before, cheated on,” the singer told Soul Train. “My wife cheated on me with a guy that I hung out with and had sung at his wedding reception. It was some deep stuff.”
Despite heartbreaks of the past, RL has managed to move forward and is expecting his first child with Lena. The R&B singer also has an adult son named Charles.
