Happy Holidays from the Wests! Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and the kids joined the rest of the family in celebrating the season earlier this week. Kanye shared a picture of him, Kim, and the kids with social media fans.
In the photo, Kanye was rocking blond hair and Kim wore a beautiful gold gown. The kids, North and Saint, were also stylish as they both wore black and gave the camera all of their attention.
These past few weeks have been tumultuous for the Wests as Kanye suffered a breakdown in the middle of his concert in Sacramento last month. Many took the rapper’s actions to be nothing more than a typical rant but West’s problems multiplied to the extent of him being admitted to the hospital and undergoing psychological evaluations.
The holiday season has been quite difficult for Kanye since the rapper’s mother, Donda West, passed away nearly a decade ago. Donda died of heart disease and complications from plastic surgery on November 10, 2007, and Kanye blamed himself.
“If I had never moved to L.A. she’d be alive,” he told media last year. “I don’t want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears,” Kanye added.
With much pain comes insurmountable joy as Kanye enjoys his life as a husband and father. “I think I have to experience it for another few years to be able to give you an opinion,” he said of parenthood earlier this year. “There are some things I understand, certain things I don’t understand, certain things I like to get off my chest in interviews, certain things that I want to talk about. But when we talk about love, I don’t have an answer. All I can say is that I’m happy I have it.”
North is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest child who celebrated her third birthday in June. Saint rang in his first birthday earlier this month.
