Actors Miles Brown, Marcus Scribner, Dante Brown, and Chandler Kinney were among the star-studded celebrity attendees for the 2016 annual Actors Fund ‘Looking Ahead’ awards ceremony, held at the Taglyan Complex on December 6, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
The annual fundraising event, held each December, is geared towards raising support and awareness for program services focused on the youth community within the entertainment industry. The event emphases five core values: healthy parenting, mentorship, social awareness, education, and community service. Black-ish co-stars Scribner and Brown, were among the night’s honorees. Award honors range from The Judy and Hilary Swank Award, honoring the parent(s) of a former young performer to The Elizabeth Taylor Award for Social Awareness, which honors a current young performer who is raising awareness about important societal issues through a current role.
