Yandy Smith is focused on the family and her career. The celebrity mom was all about her business this past weekend as she hosted an event for her site, EGL. Yandy had the support of her kids, Omere and Skylar, as she marketed her brand.
Skylar was all ears during the event but the little one grew tired and fell asleep later on. “Conversations with my mini then she falls asleep on me,” Yandy told Instagram fans. “I just can’t. Like she been working all weekend,” the star mom joked.
Smith also shared a picture of her son running away from her many kisses. “Omere I just wanted one kiss this time. Not 5,” she captioned.
Yandy later shared a candid of her giving her son a kiss on the cheek. “Got em.”
It has been quite interesting for Yandy as the household’s head. The celebrity mom’s husband, Mendeecees, is presently serving a prison sentence for crimes committed several years back. Although some days are more challenging than others, Yandy keeps a positive perspective. In fact, the star posted a touching open letter in celebration of her and Mendeecees wedding anniversary a few days ago.
“Who would have thought 10years ago when we met I would be married to this man @mendeecees on this day last year,” she said. “I met him working in Miami with a client and after meeting me, talking all night in our hotel lobby and on the beach he decide[d] to change his flight and come back with me the next day,” Yandy added.
The reality star uploaded a picture of the flight ticket that Mendeecees used to connect with her a decade ago in honor of their unconditional love. “I saved this ticket he flew back on because I knew even back then how he would be more than just a crush or a friend,” she wrote.
Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris have two kids together. The rapper also has a son named Mendeecees Jr., who Yandy takes pride in treating as her own. Skylar celebrates her second birthday in January. Omere turned 4-years-old this year.
