Zendaya fans rejoice! Disney just gave the green light for the third season of K.C. Undercover and the first episode promises to be explosive.
K.C. impersonates her mom in an effort to keep her identity top secret when Scholastic Achievement Quarterly tries to interview her for being the smartest kid in school. Unfortunately, K.C.’s cover comes to the brink of being blown out of the water when another imposter claims to also be the spy’s mother.
Zendaya expressed pure excitement in the return of her Disney show earlier this week. “I’m happy I get to continue making positive television for kids all over the world,” she shared with Variety. “It’s going to be next level,” the young star added.
Adam Bonnett, executive vice president of original programming for Disney Channels Worldwide, also commented. “We’re very proud of the success of ‘K.C. Undercover’ and how popular it is across our different platforms,” he said. “The series will continue to deliver action sequences that push the boundaries of the multi-camera genre with the same great quality storytelling and talented cast led by the incomparable Zendaya and executive producer Rob Lotterstein.”
Season three of K.C. Undercover premieres on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 8:00 PM (EST) on the Disney Channel.
